PT. Karana Mitra Logistik is a national and international freight forwarding and Customs Service Provider (PPJK). When should importers use international freight forwarding services and when should they use PPJK services? Our research indicates that all international freight forwarding companies are also Customs Service Providers (PPJK), but not all Customs Service Providers (PPJK) necessarily accept import shipping services. Therefore, for cost eciency, importers of goods in quantities less than the minimum Sea Cargo LCL (Less Container Load) should use international freight forwarding services. Importers of goods in quantities reaching the minimum Sea Cargo LCL (Less Container Load) or a number of Sea Cargo FCL (Full Container Load) should manage their own imports in collaboration with Customs Service Providers (PPJK).
